How to set up your practice for success!
- Choose a time when both parent and child have the most energy; alternate for unusual days.
- Location, location, location! Try to practice away from the traffic patterns of your home and from loud distractions (TV, telephone).
- Make it a policy not to take phone calls during practice time, except for emergencies.
- Make sure the room has enough light.
- Have a snack in needed - for brain power!
- Be as consistent as possible in your routine.
- Quality not quantity is the goal. 15 minutes every day is better than 45 twice a week. (Assuming you could do 45 minutes! But you get the idea!)
